If you live in the Northern part of the United States, then you are very familiar with ice and snowstorms. You deal with them almost 50% of the year. It is frustrating and irritating, but it is something that you have learned to live with. If you are anything like me, then every year you are saying, “I’m never going through another New York winter!” If it were possible, I would be out of here in a heartbeat. The cold and icy winters just are not my thing.

When snow and ice storms hit, you can be prepared all you want, but it sometimes does not matter, as it does not make it any easier to clear snow and ice, especially from your vehicle. I know with my mother, she has a hell of a time finding a snow/ice brush that will do the job. She had one years ago that was perfect, but somewhere along the way, it ended up being destroyed.

Scrape-A-Round is one of those extremely simple products that when you see it, you go, “Why didn’t I think of that?!” Not only is it simply designed, but it is simple to use as well. When ice or even light snow hits, grab a Scrape-A-Round and literally do as the name says – scrape around. The first time that we used these neat little products, we had gotten a rather major ice storm. Maybe not the best conditions to be trying them out in, but I figured it was the best time to test out how well they truly worked. The ice was quite thick on the windows. It took a little bit to get the knack of how to use the Scrape-A-Round. However, once I did, it was an absolute breeze. With some of the thick ice, it did take a bit more force than I would have liked to get it to start coming off the windows. Once it did, it was easy to just scrape the rest.

While I do like the Scrape-A-Round 3 Pack Set, it is really only great if you have the time to use the product. The reason I say this is that it does take a while to clear your windows with the Scrape-A-Round. Not only that but it is difficult to use them when you are short. We cannot get the middle of the window with them, which is sometimes the worst area for snow, and ice. It did work well to clear my sliding glass door of all the ice and snow from the storm.

It truly surprised me how well the Scrape-A-Round worked, when it’s essentially a funnel. These really work, so I do recommend them! If you are short and/or in a rush to work, then these might not be the best tool for you.
