     Alliance Fencing Academy’s summer and winter fencing camps are an opportunity for your child to have fun exploring one of the original and foundational sports of the modern Olympic games while picking up technical and competitive skills that will last them a lifetime. Our fencing camps are ideal for parents looking to help their child maximize their time off from school during holiday breaks, with different camp sessions designed to cater to newcomers, intermediate, and advanced fencers. Renowned instructor and Team USA Olympic Coach Andrey Geva and his highly trained coaching staff provide a fun, safe, and exciting setting for kids to learn the sport of competitive fencing as well as an environment for older and more experienced athletes to sharpen their skills in preparation for national and international competitions. ALLIANCE FENCING ACADEMY was established in 2004 by former U.S. Olympic and National Coach Andrey Geva. Alliance's staff includes 8 professional coaches and 6 assistant coaches who have learned the Olympic sport of fencing in Cuba, Germany, Guatemala, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and the United States. Alliance is home to 3 Olympians, 25 World Team Members, 3 NCAA Individual Champions, 7 NCAA Medalists, and 12 NCAA All-Americans.      Villa Sport Athletic Club in Houston is bringing summer-long excitement to the area with its Adventure Island camp for kids ages 5 to 12. Registration opens February 1, and weekly camps begin Monday, June 16.
