Scarborough Renaissance Festival is interactive fun for the whole family, 16th Century style! Step back in time for the time of your life during the Festival's 42nd season and discover a 35-acre re-creation of an English village celebrating the visit of King Henry VIII and his new bride, Katherine Parr (number 6 for those who are counting), their royal court and guests with a festival of entertainment, artisans, food, magic, and merriment!

Come join the fun in the "Village of Scarborough".
Enjoy full combat jousting and birds of prey exhibitions; a Mermaid Lagoon, 20+ stages of non-stop Renaissance style entertainment, and the 125+ member performing company. Explore the amazing Artisan's Marketplace with 200+ shoppes of exquisite crafts and incredible artisan demonstrations. Experience Knighting Ceremonies, the Mermaid Lagoon, combat competitions, a Grande Parade, Renaissance rides, games of skill, and so much more.

Feast on food fit for a king with our famous giant smoked Turkey Legs and the largest food-on-a-stick selection in Texas; plus, delectable favorites from the Village Bakery, Pasta Palace, and more!

Each weekend has a different theme such as Live the Fantasy Weekend, Legends of the Seas, Celtic Weekend, and others! They each include a variety of special events including the all-new Children's Easter Egg Roll, costume contests, fairy initiations, naval enlistment ceremonies, and so much more!

Just for families, kids 12 & under are free (up to 3 kids free with each paid adult) on opening weekend April 8 & 9 as well as on Mother's Day, May 14.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival runs for 8 consecutive weeks - Saturdays, Sundays, & Memorial Day Monday April 8 - May 29, 2023 and is just 30 minutes south of Downtown Dallas in Waxahachie.

Sci-Tech Discovery Center will be hosting week long STEM camps. Each week will have a differnt theme that encourage kids to learn while having fun!

The camps are 1st - 6th grade and are from 9am - 4pm. The price of camp includes all the hands on materials. It does not include any food or beverages.
